Our client is a non-profit organization that is dedicated to creating a better and more inclusive Europe through different cultural initiatives. To expand the reach of their work and raise awareness about their mission, our client is currently seeking for a creative and motivated Online Communications Coordinator to work closely with internal teams and external stakeholders, to be able to successfully executing and advancing the day-to-day and long-term online strategy.

As an Online Communications Coordinator, your responsibilities will include:

  • Develop and execute the online strategy, leveraging new tools and identifying target audiences to effectively communicate our client’s vision.
  • Craft engaging and creative content in various formats (written, visual, audio, video) for dissemination across online channels (website and social media).
  • Coordinate the management and development of our client’s website and newsletters, ensuring they remain informative and up-to-date.
  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of our social media platforms.
  • Create and manage an editorial calendar for all content, ensuring consistent messaging and timely delivery.
  • Stay up to date with new trends and opportunities in the digital media landscape, proposing new ways to utilize social platforms and digital content to tell impactful stories and foster community interaction.
  • Provide assistance to other Communications activities, such as event coordination.

To thrive in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and skills:

  • A min. of 3 years of experience with content creation and content management for online channels
  • A near-native level of English Excellent verbal and written communication skills in
  • Strong copywriting skills to convey sometimes complex ideas and stories effectively
  • Proven experience of working with the Adobe Suite programs, especially InDesign
  • Experience of working with CRM systems, CMS (Wordpress), as well as tracking, monitoring and analyzing tools
  • A proactive, independent, and curious approach, with a keen eye for spotting opportunities and following through on them
  • You are based in the Netherlands and you are eligible to work in the Netherlands
