Job description:

The Project Officer will work under broad direction from the Nursing Director – Aged Care Reform. Direction will be provided in terms of objectives which require the planning of staff, time, and material resources for project completion.

The role:

  • Provide project management services by collaboratively planning, delivering, and implementing project and activity outputs as directed by the Nursing Director - Aged Care Reform.
  • Support the implementation of new initiatives and service improvements through the delivery of effective project management processes, providing specialist advice and coordination to ensure project activities are aligned to Agency policies, core business functions and relevant legislation, including identifying issues and supporting meetings and negotiations.
  • Implement and maintain stakeholder management strategies, providing coordination, organisation and administration.
  • Provide high level advice and attend to complex issues either impacting on, or impacted by, the delivery of project activities, including contributing to the development of operational solutions, guidelines, and recommendations for improved service delivery outcomes.
  • Develop, establish, and maintain effective and collaborative relationships with relevant project stakeholders to support the achievement of good project outcomes for Aged Care Reform Unit (ACRU).
