Where you'll be working

Here at the NSW Ministry of Health, the Strategic Communications and Engagement team is having an extraordinary year with an unprecedented demand for exceptional communications services. We are currently looking for an executive assistant who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment to join our amazing team.


You will be regarded for your genuine care and dedication, along with the ability to work in a high pressure and high-volume environment. As the Executive Assistant, culture fit is extremely important and we are searching for a hardworking, confident, calm-natured and proactive individual to support the Executives and the wider team. You will need to demonstrate a capacity to work effectively at the executive level and managing multiple issues at one time in a fast paced environment.


What you'll be doing

You will provide a comprehensive range of high-level administrative support functions to the Executive Director and Directors to support the timely delivery of business initiatives to a high quality and standard. The successful applicant will work directly with the Executive Director and will support the Branch operation.


This position deals with sensitive issues and operates within critical timeframes.


Crown Clerk 5/6, salary from $89,707 - $98,982 p.a. (plus Super and annual leave loading)

About you
We are seeking motivated and committed individuals with:

  • Experience as an Executive Assistant is highly regarded
  • A demonstrated capacity to work effectively, providing support at the Executive level
  • A willingness to be involved in all aspects of administration and office management
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and oral
  • Highly personable and positive attitude will be warmly welcomed, whilst your professionalism will be highly valued
  • Confident and articulate with a strong attention to detail
