JOB SUMMARY
Responsible for weighing inbound and outbound containers/tankers. Must keep accurate receiving logs of all inbound and outbound bulk shipments and complete paperwork required for all shipments.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Scale trucks in/out
• Enter data into JDE for receipt and shipment of bulk wines
• Log weight/trucking data into the Microsoft Excel Scale house log
• Communicate with the Cellar Department when specific containers are entering/leaving the yard
• Accurately calculate weights/gallons on weight tags and bill of ladings
• Compliance paperwork is orderly and accurate
• Check for discrepancies in our bulk wine gallons versus the gallons (brought in from, or shipped out to) other wineries
• Communicate effectively with trucking companies on changes as needed

QUALIFICATIONS

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Good analytical and math skills
• Computer literate
• Good communication skills
• Ability to work any shift and with minimal supervision
• Weigh master certification preferred
• Support and model all company procedures and policies

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

• Must be able to frequently lift and carry weights of up to 50 pounds at varying frequencies
• Possess the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Working environment has exposure to related warehouse equipment and associated noise levels
• Ability to perform tasks requiring bending, stooping, standing, and twisting in the performance of various task in the warehouse environment
• Work activities may also include typical tasks found in an office environment

COMPENSATION

• Hiring Hourly Rate Posted: $18.00/hr
