As our Transport Engineer, you will be responsible for managing the transport flows in your portfolio, balancing cost, service, and daily operations. You will actively manage and optimize communication and logistics routines between the distribution center, product companies, sales companies, and the suppliers. Your analytical skills will be put to the test as you analyze transport flows in your portfolio and work to continuously improve and optimize our transport applications and systems.
You'll work closely with the shipping coordinators, who will take care of operational planning, and report to the Team Leader Transport. We expect you to have a university degree in TEW, business engineering, or equivalent experience, as well as excellent knowledge of Dutch and English. Other languages are a plus.
