We are releasing another exciting opportunity for a Warehouse Operative to join us for 6 months (fixed-term).
Salary: National Minimum Wage

As a Warehouse Operative, this is what your day-to-day will look like and how your contribution will add value to our business, in addition to some extra relevant tasks as required:
- Dealing with incoming deliveries (from suppliers)
- Loading lorries for outgoing deliveries (to customers)
- Picking orders
- Cutting materials on our machinery
- Moving stock across the warehouse
- Liaising with warehouse management and couriers
We are looking for the following characteristics and skills from the Warehouse Operative we employ.
The below items are essential:
- Able to work with a high degree of accuracy
- Committed to learn and progress within the branch
- Able to work well as part of a team.
- Happy to work in a warehouse environment.
- Committed to delivering excellent customer service.
- Previous experience working in a warehouse or distribution centre.
The below items are desirable, but not essential:
- Good industry knowledge carpet & flooring
- Knowledge of competitors
- Good H&S awareness and safety consciousness
The following licence/certification/membership is required in order to work in the Warehouse Operative role.
- A first aider qualification (desirable)
- A current, valid forklift, counterbalance or reach truck licence
