Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Restaurant Manager to oversee the daily operations of our restaurant. As a Restaurant Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient running of all aspects of the restaurant, including customer service, staff management, inventory control, and financial management. You will play a crucial role in maintaining the restaurant's reputation for exceptional quality and service.

Responsibilities:

Operational Management:

  • Oversee and coordinate all activities within the restaurant
  • Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to improve efficiency and customer service.
  • Monitor and evaluate restaurant performance metrics, such as customer satisfaction, sales, and profitability.
  • Identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to enhance overall restaurant performance.

Staff Management:

  • Supervise restaurant staff, including servers, hosts/hostesses, kitchen staff, and bartenders.
  • Create employee schedules to ensure adequate staffing levels and optimize productivity.
  • Provide ongoing training and development opportunities for staff members.
  • Set performance expectations and provide feedback to ensure high-quality service.
  • Resolve staff conflicts or customer complaints in a timely and professional manner.

Customer Service:

  • Monitor and respond to online reviews and customer feedback.
  • Implement strategies to enhance customer experience and loyalty.

Financial Management:

  • Develop and manage the restaurant budget, including sales forecasting, cost control, and profit maximization.
  • Monitor and analyze financial reports, such as profit and loss statements, and take corrective actions as needed.
  • Control inventory levels and ordering to minimize waste and optimize cost efficiency.

Marketing and Promotions:

  • Monitor industry trends and competitors to identify opportunities for improvement and innovation.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience as a Restaurant Manager or in a similar role within the food and beverage industry.
  • In-depth knowledge of restaurant operations
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Exceptional customer service orientation.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: ₦100,000.00 per month
