To support its fast growth and to deal with the rapidly changing business environment, we are looking to hire a Financial Analyst (m/f/x) . This person will be part of the finance team, based in Luxembourg (center).
Our client is an international logistics service provider and port operator. The HQ is in Belgium, but the company is present globally and employs more than 10 000 people worldwide.
Key responsibilities
Support the Group finance department in a variety of activities, such as financial planning on the short and long term, investment analysis and financial reporting topics;
Assessing, developing and implementing treasury and cash management systems and process improvements;
Assist in the implementation of new processes in order to deal with the rapidly changing environment, in areas such as transfer pricing and accounting standards;
Prepare or monitor the Group's various cash flow forecasts, contribute to financial modeling and perform financial analysis;
Work in close cooperation with the business units;
Work on Ad hoc projects
Your Profile:
You have obtained your Master's degree in Economics, Accounting or Finance;
You have a first working experience (min. 2 years), preferably in a finance role;
You have a strong interest for financial markets and instruments and treasury management systems, or are prepared to gain this knowledge at a fast pace;
You have good communication skills and you are fluent in English. The knowledge of French and/or Dutch is a plus;
You are IT literate;
You are resilient to stress;
You have analytical, problem solving and interpersonal skills. Advanced spreadsheet and modeling skills are a plus;
You are a self-starter and combine drive with eagerness to learn.
