Job Title
Currently we are looking for a candidate to perform a role as a Product Management Specialist to drive product management activities across the end-to-end product lifecycle for Amadeus Leisure Platform Israel products.
In this role you’ll:
- Define, based on customer / market / competitive insight you will have gathered, the vision & strategy for your product and execute on that strategy to turn it into customer success
- Develop and maintain your product roadmap, based on your product vision and strategy
- Closely collaborate with customers to validate customer value drivers, define features and prioritize based on effort and expected business value
- Collect functional requirements from different user groups and stakeholders and translate them into solution-oriented user stories
- Innovate and find new functionality to get advantage and more value to our product
- Prioritize and manage backlogs and never lose the view of the product and overall vision
- Bring your full passion to the user-centric development
- Create analyses and derive hypotheses for the execution of qualitative and quantitative tests
- Perform the QA for new product features
- Be responsible for controlling the entire process from conception to release (including coordination of all involved parties like R&D, operations, marketing, sales, …)
- Create product/feature documentation and train your customers
- Analyze solution offerings of competitors and define the strategic positioning of your product
- Decide about build-or-buy and manage potential 3rd party partnerships
- Plan and support marketing initiatives
- Actively manage your product’s budget and associated revenue
- Help the product team in any way to gain customer satisfaction, stability and profit
About the ideal candidate:
- You have a bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in product design or engineering or alternatively the relevant professional experience
- You have at least 2 years of professional experience as a product manager or in a similar position in the digital sector, ideally in a tourism environment
- You have knowledge about the travel industry and/or tour operators
- Experience in agile working methods, e.g. working as a Product Owner is a plus, but not mandatory
- Constant willingness to critically question the business model / product and further develop it in a customer-centric manner
- Experience in delivering quality technology product in a highly dynamic environment
- You bring an extensive understanding of information architecture, user experience design, onsite optimization and conversion rate optimization
- Your way of working is testing and data driven
- You are a team player, have excellent communication skills and a high level of personal responsibility, commitment and motivation
- You work independent and forward oriented while consulting and collaborating with your team
- Strong conceptual skills, business sense, 'doing mentality' and affinity for digital business models
- You speak natively Hebrew (mandatory) and your written and spoken English is proficient
- You show strong presentation and public speaking skills
