Market Insights Executive (Nutrition) [Vietnam]


 

Summary:

  • This role is to manage customized research projects and provide integrated fact-based analysis to facilitate business decision and shape business strategy. It will include working closely with internal key stakeholders to understand business needs, then working with research agencies to layout clearly research objectives, identify relevant methodologies, manage project execution/ timeline to ensure high quality and timely deliverables.
  • The role requires working knowledge of quantitative research and be able to perform analysis and convey key insights of research projects.
  • Reporting directly to: Market Research Manager
  • High frequency of interaction: Cross functional team (mainly marketing, comex, ethical), MI Team (local & Area) and external Partners/ agencies
  • Working location: Melinh Point, 2 Ngo Duc Ke, Ben Nghe Ward, District 1, HCM city.

Core job responsibilities:

Main responsibilities:

Customized research/ Analysis, triangulation and optimization

  • Manage customized research projects (ad hoc / tracking), including quantitative and qualitative surveys as needed, including briefing the research agencies, questionnaire design, monitor their execution per aligned timing (which may involve pilot checking, field interview, quality check), analysis data, gather additional information and finetune reports.
  • Conduct survey using CRM database or monkey survey
  • Work and follow up with internal / agency to ensure progress for external/ internal research projects.
  • Manage and organize data information, such as: written and oral reports, graphs, charts and diagrams

Market Measurement and Performance Tracking

  • Support manager for Brand Performance tracking projects: working closely with Internal stakeholders and agencies from questionnaire design, join the field interview (pilot), quality check, report analysis and presentation.
  • Under the supervision of the Manager, review, and input data for Consumer panel tracking (KWP), reports, and presentations

Ad-hoc report/ customized analysis and Business review

  • Support manager in ad-hoc reports/ analysis as per requests (brand analysis, region deep-dive, issue understanding, visitor business review ….)

Administration & Documentation:

  • Collect research brief from manager or marketing team
  • Support to prepare and allocate budget for research projects
  • In charge of Admin/paperwork to ensure all research projects comply with purchasing procedure and make payment for agency with the support of temporary staffs (Proposals, PR, PO, Waiver, Deviation approval, Good receipt, Payment documents).
  • Ensure all business activities comply with the WHO code, Viet Nam code, relevant Acts, legal demands, Abbott code of conduct and ethical standards.

MINIMUM BACKGROUND/ EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

Work Experience:

  • Bachelor Degree in Marketing/ Management/ Economics or related fields
  • 2-3 years experiences in market research relevant position or Sounding proven market research analysis experience
  • Sound understanding of Statistical Concepts, Research Methods, and Design.
  • Able to manipulate large, complex data sets using a variety of software applications (Excel, Microsoft Office), including the use of relational databases
  • Knowing SPSS, SAS, Power BI is an advantage
  • Excellent in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
