Role Description
Swarm Analytics is shaping the
Smart City of tomorrow through easy to use, trustworthy, yet affordable technology. As part of our
engineering team, you will develop, deliver, and maintain visio
n-based sensors for smart cities. Your main responsibilities range from building production-ready training systems to building model architectures, scalable training environments, and model optimizations.
THE ROLE
- You will build, enhance, and maintain a production-ready training system (based on Pytorch) for scalable multi-GPU training and evaluation
- You will create and optimize model architectures for detection, classification, and OCR systems using state-of-the-art approaches
- You will employ state-of-the-art model compression techniques, apply hyperparameter search and optimize latency for target hardware platforms
- You will work closely with our data and software engineers
WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED
- As a Deep Learning Engineer at Swarm, you will keep the product focus in mind
- You have the drive to bring in new ideas to the table with your proactive approach and hands-on mentality
- You embrace change and challenges, and are comfortable in fast-paced business environments
YOUR MUST HAVES
- You have 3+ years professional experience as a software engineer (shipped software to production)
- Additionally, you have experience with deep learning and/or computer vision
- Excellent communication skills in English

NICE TO HAVE
- You have excellent software engineering skills and experience (Python, clean code, Git, docker, CI/CD)
- You have profound knowledge with Pytorch and Pytorch lightning (or similar), model architectures, model compression, hyperparameter search, NAS, trackers, inference engines
- Experienced with scalable environments, experience with multi GPU and large dataset training, shipped models to production
- You also have experience with UNIX-based systems
