Meeting Planner, French speaker
Global Business Travel Meetings & Events, a joint venture of American Express, is currently looking for a Meeting Planner based in Belgium (hybrid role, 1 day/week in Brussels office) to work with our pharmaceutical clients!
In this role, you will be responsible for the end-to-end process of events, from initial proposal to post-project reconciliation, including sourcing, group air, logistics and delivery.
You will be working in a global environment, managing domestic and international events, with the opportunity to develop your talents with a broad range of clients and within a dynamic team.
Experience in Events coordination/management, although your motivation to work with us, your capacity to handle multiple tasks at a time in a fast-paced environment is more important, so other profiles will be considered.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Including but not limited to the following:
  • National and international project management
  • Negotiation with suppliers
  • Look for opportunities to increase income/revenue
  • Liaise with meeting owners
  • Operational management of the events
  • Logistical coordination of the events
  • Budget reconciliation
  • Onsite assistance (if required, not mandatory)
  • Reporting
  • Ensure compliance and customer policies
SKILLS
  • Good knowledge of English as well as French (Dutch also useful yet not compulsory)
  • Good knowledge of Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint, knowledge of Cvent is a plus
  • Flexibility, with the ability to work in a team as well as independently
  • Used to work under pressure
  • A dynamic, cheerful approach to work
