Job Description
As a Software Research Engineer you will take part in the innovation of the cutting edge computing and will be working on a software pathfinding and enablement as part of the Extreme Scale Computing group.
Our research activities are directed towards a new proof-of-concept architectures with the focus on programming models, low-level tools and modeling while closely collaborating with our RTL team to co-design high performing hardware platform. Work will also include hardware emulation (QEMU) and adoption of existing system libraries to the new runtime ecosystem.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
- Hands-on experience in ASM/C/C++ programming
- Working knowledge of CPU and system architecture modelling techniques, frameworks and tools
- Experience with Unix-like OS-es and cluster environment
- Exposure to software engineering best practices, fluency in using of source code management tools
What we additionally value:
- Knowledge of CPU architectures (x86, ISA, code generation)
- Experience with parallel and distributed programming
- Understanding of SW quality assurance principles
- Good communication skills in English - written and spoken

Working Model
This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
