We are looking for a Medical Scriber with atleast 6 months experience to help virtually assist a medical doctor’s office in the US.
Job Summary:
The Medical Scriber is a crucial role in our healthcare team, primarily responsible for capturing accurate and detailed patient encounters by transcribing and documenting medical information in real-time. This position focuses more on scribing tasks, enabling healthcare professionals to concentrate on patient care. The successful candidate will work closely with medical providers, ensuring precise and comprehensive documentation of patient encounters.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to document patient encounters, medical histories, and treatment plans in real-time, with a focus on accuracy and detail.
- Accurately transcribe and enter medical information into electronic health records (EHR) systems, adhering to established protocols.
- Maintain strict confidentiality of patient information and comply with HIPAA regulations.
- Ensure that all relevant medical details, including diagnosis codes, medication lists, and procedure notes, are accurately documented.
- Review and clarify medical terminology and abbreviations with healthcare providers as needed.
- Assist in organizing and managing medical records for easy access by healthcare professionals.
- Stay updated on the latest medical terminology and industry standards through training and professional development opportunities.
- This is a home-based and full-time position with competitive hourly pay .
- The candidate should have excellent written and verbal command of English.
