Hudson are seeking expressions of interest for Outbound Contact Centre Operator in Geelong. Full time hours in Government for a 4 month assignment with real potential to extend.

  • VPS structure, $44 per hour
  • State Government
  • 2-3 days in office based in Geelong. WFH flexibility for other days
  • 8:00am - 4:00pm Monday to Friday
  • 4 month assignment with possibility of extension
  • No gov experience required
  • Triple vaccination required

The Hudson Business Support team are currently seeking candidates with previous Outbound/Collections Experience for this role.

Indicative key duties may include:

  • Conduct contact centre operations with a focus on achieving excellent & personalised service, the highest level of courtesy and professionalism whilst meeting service standards and business key performance indicators
  • Deliver a quality experience at every contact via channels including: telephone, web, SMS, email
  • Provide a high level of customer service to all our customers as a multi skilled consultant in an efficient & specialised manner focusing on first point contact resolution
  • Manage & take responsibility for customer complaints remaining calm & controlled under pressure. Communicate and provide accurate information to customer clearly and effectively
  • Adhere to privacy guidelines
  • Process allocated correspondence via different channels within set time frame
  • Value working in a team where consultants share and learn from each other in an environment where open and honest feedback is given peer to peer.
  • Demonstrate an ability to adapt to a dynamic and changing environment where new customer challenges lead to new ways of acting and thinking

About You:

  • Experience in inbound/outbound contact centres or a challenging customer service environment
  • Experience in handling complex enquiries in a multi channelled environment would be advantageous
  • Previous experience working in a utility advantageous
  • Self-motivated and results focussed with high level of attention to detail and a strong sense of urgency, where required
  • Proven ability to communicate and acknowledge customers concerns by listening and empathising with customer where appropriate
  • Professional phone etiquette to provide the customer with a positive first impression
