AVC Wise is seeking to employ a talented Email Designer to join our Marketing team. This an exciting opportunity to be part of fast-growing and innovative business.
The role requires an individual who will support the Design and Marketing Teams by coding and designing emails, brand mailers, triggered and transactional emails. Your work will help support our new and existing partnering organisations with their communication materials. With the end goal of increasing engagement and take-up of the employee benefits within these organisations.

Who we’re looking for
Your main responsibilities in this role will include:
- Specialise in creating responsive email designs using block-based template email builders and HTML
- Experience with triggered and transactional emails
- Support the team designing email layouts in Adobe Creative Cloud and Emarsys software
- Develop and maintain both new and existing email templates and creative designs
- Test renderings across multiple email clients and ISPs (Outlook, Google, Hotmail) and ensure messages are responsive and mobile friendly
- Work closely with the Senior Graphic Designer, Graphic Designer and the Marketing team following briefs to create informative, modern, engaging email layouts for BAU emails, partner communication emails and brand mailer emails that will be ready for deployment through Emarsys
- Adapting campaign artwork with Adobe Creative Cloud from other digital assets to produce design concepts
- Gif creation in Adobe Photoshop for email campaigns
- Ensuring all artwork follows the AVC Wise brand guidelines
- Working to short deadlines and fast turnaround times
- Maintain an easy-to-use filing system for all completed emails and assets

A bit about you
You will be an experienced Email Designer, having worked in a marketing communications role. In addition to this you will possess the following skills and experience:
- 3+ years of experience of email marketing and design
- Previous Experience of using Emarsys would be advantageous
- Proven track record of designing and developing email campaigns
- Understanding of email best practice and accessibility
- Strong knowledge across Modular and responsive HTML and CSS for email marketing
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud software such as Photoshop and InDesign
- Proactive time and workload management skills
- Strong interpersonal skills with a positive, enthusiastic attitude
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with a solid foundation of English grammar
- An ability to think creatively to add value to ideas or solve problems
- Happy working both independently and as a team
- Passionate about helping people and improving their wellbeing
